Infinite Outsource

Product engineering partner

Engineering connected medical devices — and the software behind them.

Infinite Outsource is a product engineering partner for biomedical device and technology companies. We design, build and validate medical devices and the embedded, IoT and cloud software that makes them work — with teams in India, the United States and Italy.

An exploded view of a connected medical device: sensor front end, mechanical enclosure, electronics and PCB, and the firmware and power layer.

What we do

We work where healthcare and engineering meet.

The whole stack sits in one team: electronics and mechanical design, embedded firmware, IoT connectivity, cloud and mobile applications, and the structured testing that proves a device does what it is supposed to do. Most device programmes lose time in the gaps between those disciplines. Ours do not have gaps to lose it in.

01 — Devices

Biomedical Device Engineering

Design it, build it, prove it works.

Full-stack device development, from a concept on a whiteboard to validated hardware reporting into the cloud.

  • Concept, feasibility and system architecture
  • Electronics and PCB design
  • Mechanical and enclosure design
  • Embedded firmware and device drivers
  • IoT connectivity and remote monitoring
  • Verification, validation and test documentation

02 — Software

IT Services & Software Engineering

Build the systems around it.

The platforms, applications and infrastructure that connected products — and the companies that build them — run on.

  • Custom software and application development
  • Cloud architecture, migration and data platforms
  • Mobile and companion applications
  • IoT platform and device fleet management
  • Managed IT and infrastructure support

IoT connectivity and remote monitoring

Getting data off the device, securely and reliably.

A device that cannot report is a device nobody can monitor. We build the link end to end — radio on the board, pipeline into the cloud, dashboard a clinician actually reads.

  • Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity
  • Device-to-cloud data pipelines and telemetry
  • Remote monitoring dashboards and alerting
  • Secure handling of device data in transit and at rest

How a project runs

Five stages, each ending in something that runs.

  1. 01

    Discovery and feasibility

We start with what the device has to do, who uses it, and the constraints around it: form factor, power budget, connectivity, cost and target market. You get a technical feasibility view and a realistic plan before anyone commits to a build.

  2. 02

    Design and development

Electronics, mechanical, firmware and software progress in parallel against an agreed architecture. Work runs in short cycles ending in something that actually runs, so you are reviewing a device rather than a slide.

  3. 03

    Prototyping and integration

Prototypes move from bench proof to integrated units. Hardware, firmware and the cloud and mobile layers are brought together and exercised as one system, under the conditions the device will really meet.

  4. 04

    Verification and validation

Test protocols are written against requirements and executed with results recorded. You receive traceable evidence in a form your quality and regulatory team can use directly.

  5. 05

    Sustaining engineering

After release we maintain firmware and software, investigate field issues, add capability and keep platforms current — for as long as the product is in service.

Why work with us

What holds up under a real device programme.

01

Device engineering, not generic development

We work in a safety-critical context every day. Our engineers understand why traceability, documentation and test evidence matter, and build them into the work from the start rather than reconstructing them under deadline.

02

Hardware, firmware and software in one team

Most device problems live in the handover between disciplines. Because electronics, mechanical design, firmware and application software sit together, those problems surface in week three rather than at integration.

03

Capacity that scales with the programme

Ramp a team up for a development push and back down for sustaining work, without carrying permanent headcount through the quiet months. Defined milestones, working demonstrations, and no surprises in the status report.

04

Three countries, one accountable team

Our engineering centre is in Ahmedabad, our commercial operations are in the United States, and we are newly registered in Italy. You get one point of contact and overlapping working hours, not a handoff between offices.

Building a device, or the platform behind one?

Tell us what you are working on. We will come back with a technical view, an honest assessment of what it takes, and a straight answer on whether we are the right team for it.
